Tim Ferry is a professional kawasaki rider Supercross and Motocross racer born in West Palm Beach, Florida on March 18, 1975. Ferry began his amateur career with Team Green throughout the 80's and early 90's. He turned pro in 1992 and won the 125 East Coast Championship in 1997 riding for Suzuki. He moved up to the 250cc class the following year and started riding for Yamaha. In 2001 he started riding on a 450cc four-stroke. He won his first 250 cc Motocross race that same year. Tim currently races for Kawasaki with his teammate Ryan Villopoto.

In his first year back with Kawasaki, Ferry earned 13 top-five finishes and six podium finishes in the AMA Supercross series to end up third overall. In AMA Motocross, he continued his success, going on to finish fourth overall in the series. Ferry was a member of winning Team USA at the Motocross of Nations, winning the Open class.
Ferry entered 2006 season with a new determination and strength with a new team. He had six top-ten finishes in the AMA Supercross series and finished 11th overall despite missing the last two races due to injury. He finished tenth overall in the AMA Motocross Series.
Ferry finished 12th overall in the AMA Supercross Series. 24th overall for the AMA Motocross Championship season.
Ferry had recurring injuries throughout the season. He was only able to race three events during the AMA Supercross Series and was unable to race in the AMA Motocross Championship.
Ferry was on top of the podium four times during the AMA Supercross Series and took fifth overall. In the AMA Motocross Championship he fared slightly better with eight top-five finishes and took fourth overall for the season. Ferry was also selected to represent Team USA at the Motocross of Nations. The highlight of the year was Ferry's first Moto win at Budd's Creek where he humiliated the competition and straight up beat "The Goat" Ricky Carmichael. To this day Ferry says that it would not have been possible without the finely tuned YZ450F by his factory mechanic and soon to be media mogul Steve Matthes.
Ferry wrapped up his 2002 AMA Supercross Series with 14th overall and his AMA Motocross season with second overall.
Ferry rode consistently and finished the year out with sixth overall in the AMA Supercross Series and third overall in the AMA Motocross Championship.
Through the dedication and technical expertise of soon to be factory mechanic and life long friend Steve "The Happening" Matthes, Ferry was able to dominate the 1999 Summercross beating 7 Time Supercross Champion Jeremy "MC" Mcgrath.
AMA 125 Eastern Division Supercross Champion
